Consignment Season: The Most Wonderful Time of the Year!

Spring is the hap-happiest season of all  – – because that’s when all the consignment sales start again – -and that means more money for you!

US Dollars Money

At Kid’s Closet Connection, our consignment sales are an annual Rite of Spring: not only do we help you clean your home, but we also put money back into YOUR pocket!

There are so many reasons to love our spring consignment sales – – and it’s not just about “showing me the money!” (although that is a great perk, too!)

• Play Time!

When you think of consignment sales this time of year, you may think about buying (and selling!)  your child’s spring and summer clothes. But sales like Kid’s Closet Connection are so much more than about clothing. Some of the best  money – makers in our consignment sales are toys of all shapes and sizes.

This spring, make a pact to clean out everything your children no longer play with and sell them for money – – instead of letting them just collect dust in your playroom or garage.

Kid’s Closet Connection consignment sales are also a great way to keep your own playroom stocked with age-appropriate toys for less money. Shopping the spring sales is like a treasure hunt for great toys that are super-expensive in new condition or may be discontinued and no longer available at retail outlets.

If selling toys and puzzles, make sure they are packaged with all pieces (including batteries!)  in an orderly fashion. Not only will this make your item stand out from amidst all the other toys at the consignment sale, but you are likely to get more money for the item at our spring sales!

• Friend and Family Time!

Kid’s Closet Connection spring consignment sales are a great way to rekindle friendships with other people who are regulars that buy, sell or volunteer (or all three!) These are the “power people” of our sales that know how to save and spend their money on good deals.

Pictured here is a group of regular volunteers who show their sisterly love by shopping , selling and spending time helping at the Kid’s Closet Connection consignment sales together. They each know the value of money, while trying to raise children on a budget – – and you should look for them (or other regulars) at your local Kid’s Closet Connection sale this spring !

It’s that feeling of family and friendship that drives the Kid’s Closet Connection consignment sales. We all know that there is so much more to our sales than money: it’s about renewing our commitment to fellow buyers, sellers and volunteers this spring – time.

• Community Time!

Kid’s Closet Connection consignment sales are a great alternative to that string of spring garage sales in your neighborhood. Often you make more  money at our consignment sales – – and you don’t have to sit in an uncomfortable lawn chair in the rain with strangers asking for deep discounts.

Reuse, Recycle, Resell! Especially during the spring of the year, as nature is renewing itself and going green, our consignment sales are a great way to recycle your children’s unwanted items – – all while putting money in your wallet!

The best part is that after the consignment sale, you can give any unsold gently used children’s items a new and useful life by donating them to others in need. That kindness is sometimes better than money and can put a spring in your step!
